About Black Graphics

Black Graphics partners with nonprofits to develop effective communications that work in a world of visual overload. We’ll work closely with you to identify the objectives of your project. And we’ll help you develop the right message and strategy to tell your story through engaging, visually distinctive graphic design for print and screen. We can help you increase the value of your existing brand or develop a new visual identity.

Karen Parry founded Black Graphics in 2000 with the objective to bring her extensive design knowledge and experience in both print and web to the nonprofit and public interest sectors.   She has also developed training and taught courses in graphic design (Graphic Design Fundamentals and Typography: The “Invisible” Art of Stunning Design as well as Graphic Design Fundamentals) at Noble Desktop in New York. Her work has won numerous awards and been published in a variety of design books and magazines. She is a current member of the Type Directors Club and a past member of ATypI (Association Typographique Internationale), AIGA, Society of Scribes and the Art Directors Club.
