Human Beings Are Heartwired

Just as there is a complex network of circuits that wire people’s brains and influence people’s impulses, there’s also an elaborate psycho-social circuit board that connects people’s emotions, values, beliefs, identity and lived experiences. In other words, human decision-making is influenced by how people are heartwired. At Wonder, we use this approach to make progress on tough social issues, from the freedom to marry for same-sex couples to making medical aid-in-dying a legal option for terminally ill people.
